Tightwad Tuesday: Vacation Over....

This is me this morning.  Right now.  Since I wrote this post about me, I couldn't think of any other picture to use.  I hope that doesn't come across as narcissistic.

I've been absent for a few days.  Long holiday vacay...I slept in, I goofed off, I cleaned, I ran errands, I watched movies...it was great.

I don't have anything earth-shattering to share.  I've shown you how to save on groceries.  I've talked about saving on clothing, cutting out the "latte factor", and family fun.  I've showed you how to do your own nails and keep your wash going with great savings.

I'm drawing a blank.

I'll never be the woman who rinses out ziploc bags or re-uses tin foil, so I won't go there.

I started thinking about time...my time is nothing I used to consider as something that had monetary value unless I was getting paid to be somewhere....until I started doing this.

Look, I've been blogging for 2 months and I think I've made $6 or $8.

My research shows that it takes quite awhile to build this up, and it has been kind of a reality check of how much time is worth, does that make sense?

Fortunately, blog writing does not take up an enormous part of my time, it's very quick.  It takes me longer to find and add in the pictures than anything else.

So I took a few days off.

I may have missed out on a cent or two.  Ha!
