I feel silly having such a passion for something so shallow, but there it is.
A fuchsia platform wedge peep toe is what's got my heart racing this spring.
And a nude t-strap platform wedge? Fuh-get aboutit! I'm a goner!
I prefer heels, but I have recently embraced flats. Not that I didn't own flats before, but I rarely wore them...until this year.
Here are my current faves:
| Super cute flats! |
They are also very comfortable, slipper-like almost. It feels like wearing nothing on my feet!
I've thrown them on with holey jeans and with a black wrap dress. I've worn them with black leggings and with trouser jeans. I'm loving it.
My love will always be a heel. I will never stop dreaming about a red-bottomed stiletto. Until my budget allows for those, I will keep hawking sales and loving my beautiful, inexpensive shoes.

Missed reading your blog yesterday. Hope you are feeling better.
Love this post!! I have recently rediscovered a love for shoes but I can't wear heels usually. That takes talent!!. I really love those flats!
Thank you, Charlene! I am trying out cutting back and have not posted the last two weekends and Thursdays...to tell the truth, I don't feel passionate about anything "Thursday" that I've come up with, and it's bogging down my blogging!
Holly, it doesn't take talent, just practice! My mom used to laugh at me because I would always wear them. One time in particular I was at my sister's house, cleaning her house in my black sling-back heels...my mother found this hilarious. I can't put on my heels on a non-church day without thinking of her. I can't think of a time in my life when I didn't wear heels, unless you count my first pregnancy. I probably came out of the womb in tiny red patent leather stilettos!
